The Jewellery Experience

The House of Sunita Shekhawat is more than a destination on your itinerary. For travellers who come to Jaipur for jewellery, our atelier offers a sequence of experiences that few luxury houses anywhere can match.

Visiting is by appointment. Our flagship in Jaipur is the principal atelier and houses the full collection. If your travel keeps you in Delhi, private appointments are also available at our boutiques in Defence Colony and DLF Emporio. We recommend booking a few days ahead so we can curate the right pieces for your visit.

A private appointment at our flagship is the heart of the experience. The full archive is made available in quiet rooms; most appointments run ninety minutes, and some clients return across several days. Tea is served. The pace is unhurried.

Adjoining the atelier is the Museum of Meenakari Heritage, India's first artist-founded museum dedicated to enamelling, established by Sunita Shekhawat and curated by the noted art historian Dr Usha R Balakrishnan. Tours are conducted by our associates and are typically scheduled alongside an atelier appointment.

A commissioned piece can begin in two ways. You may choose from the existing collection and adapt the design to your taste, or you may begin with a gemstone of your own choosing, building the piece around the stone. If a particular stone interests you, please tell us before your visit so we can have it ready in Jaipur. Your brief is taken with the atelier's associates, and the finished piece is delivered to your home in six to eight weeks.
